1. How does the story start? The story starts off with a quote from the lady. The narrator appears to be at a post office, delivering a package back to where it came from.

2. Describe the package. The package was rewrapped in a brown paper bag, sealed with clear packing tape, exactly as he had received it. The package then had a new address on it which was Hannah Baker's list.

3. What is the Narrator doing? The narrator was at a post office, sending a package with a new address to Hannah Baker.

4. How are the feelings expressed? The feelings were expressed at how the narrator felt about sending out the package to Jenny and how she would feel when she receives the package.

5. What is the tone so far? Clay was scared, because he actually sent out the package and was nervous when the messaged is sent to the desk of Mr. Porter without no return address,

6. What do you think was on the tapes? What I think was on the tapes was a long message about something that has happened to Hannah.

7. List all characters so far. The characters so far in this narrator was the post office lady and Clay Jensen.

8. What is the setting. The setting of the chapter was a day in the post office.

9. What is the problem in the story? The conflict of this story was that Clay had actually sent out the package without no return address and he was nervous at the outcome.
